FAQs

  • Optimise is for individuals who are generally doing well but want to understand themselves more deeply, shift unhelpful patterns, improve emotional balance, or make meaningful changes in their life, relationships, or work.
It’s ideal for people seeking clarity, confidence, and direction — without committing to long-term therapy.

  • No. Optimise is a psychology-informed personal development programme, not psychotherapy or clinical treatment.
While the approach draws on psychological theory and attachment-informed EMDR principles, the focus is on present-day insight, clarity, and growth.

If you need traditional weekly psychotherapy or EMDR, we can help you find the right support through trusted partners.

  • Your Discovery Session is a 90-minute conversation where we explore:

    • what you want to achieve

    • what feels stuck or unclear

    • your strengths and resources

    • your personal, relational, and work context

We then design your bespoke Optimise journey together.

  • Most programmes include:

    • six weeks of 1:1 sessions

    • guided reflection and integration practices between sessions

    • personalised resources

    • optional use of the My Window digital tools

    • a final review session to evaluate progress and map next steps

More intensive formats are available if you prefer a shorter, concentrated approach.

  • Optimise can support you if you want to understand patterns, build regulation, or gain emotional clarity.
However, if you are struggling with significant mental health difficulties, we will signpost you to appropriate therapeutic services.

  • Attachment-informed EMDR helps shift deeper beliefs and relational patterns when they are influencing your present life.
It may be integrated — gently and collaboratively — only if it aligns with your goals.
It is not EMDR therapy, and it is used within a coaching/personal growth framework.

  • Yes — but it’s designed to fit into your life.
    This might involve:

    • guided reflections

    • real-life implementation

    • journalling

    • noticing exercises

    • short practices for emotional regulation

These help integrate insights into daily life and accelerate your progress.

  • No. Optimise is not crisis support or clinical treatment. If you are in crisis or experiencing significant mental health challenges, we will help you find appropriate care through trusted partners or NHS services.

  • Yes — if your relational patterns, communication style, or attachment responses are affecting your wellbeing or sense of self, Optimise can help you understand and shift them.

  • Yes. Many people choose:

    • monthly or bi-monthly check-ins

    • short follow-up intensives

    • additional support during life transitions

This is tailored around your needs and preferences.

  • Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice are charged at the full rate, as sessions are reserved specifically for you.

  • Yes. Optimise can be delivered:

    • fully online

    • in person

    • or a combination of the two

This makes the programme flexible and accessible no matter where you are.

  • Optimise blends the depth of psychology with the momentum of coaching.
    It is:

    • intensive

    • structured

    • relational

    • tailored

    • future-focused

    • grounded in evidence-informed approaches

It’s designed to create meaningful change in weeks, not months.

  • The best next step is to book a Discovery Session.
You’ll be able to explore your goals, share what’s happening for you, and determine whether Optimise is the right fit — together.

  • The 90-minute Discovery Session is £300.
This session is an in-depth conversation where we explore what you want to change, understand what might be holding you back, and begin shaping your personalised Optimise programme.

It is also an opportunity for us to ensure that Optimise is the right fit for you — and to design the programme around your goals, pace, and needs.

Your final programme structure and cost will be confirmed after the Discovery Session, once we have a full understanding of what would best support you.

  • No. Many clients choose to spread the cost through a simple payment plan.
We’ll discuss the payment options that feel most comfortable for you during your Discovery Session.
There is no additional fee for choosing a payment plan — the overall cost remains the same.

  • Yes.
A deposit is required to secure your programme and reserve your session times.
This is outlined clearly once your programme structure is agreed.

  • Your programme fee includes:

    • 90-minute weekly 1:1 sessions

    • A personalised programme framework

    • Integration practices and guided reflections

    • Tailored resources designed for your goals

    • Between-session email support for practical questions

    • Access to the My Window digital tools

    • A final review session and future recommendations

Everything is designed to support meaningful progress throughout the six weeks.

  • The Discovery Session is a separate, one-off £300 consultation.
This is because the session itself is a substantial piece of work — a deep exploration of your goals, context, and needs.
After this, we confirm your programme structure and total fee.

  • Life sometimes changes.
If something unexpected arises, we can discuss the best way to pause or adjust the programme so it continues to support you.
Fees for completed sessions are non-refundable, and adjustments are considered on an individual basis.

  • Optimise is not weekly therapy — it’s a structured, high-intensity personal development programme that blends psychology, coaching, EMDR-informed methods, digital tools, and tailored resources.
The work is more concentrated, more focused, and designed to create meaningful movement over a shorter period.
You are investing not just in time, but in expertise, depth, and a programme built entirely around you.
