A career shaped by curiosity about people

Over the course of my career as a Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist, I have worked with adults experiencing a wide range of emotional, psychological and relational difficulties. My work has been informed by an integrative approach, drawing on a range of therapeutic models including psychodynamic psychotherapy, person-centred therapy, EMDR and mindfulness.

Alongside clinical practice, I have always been passionate about helping people make sense of their experiences through psychology, research and education. Thinking in Colour was created as a space to share those ideas in a way that felt accessible and grounded in both evidence and compassion.

Following many rewarding years in clinical practice, I have now brought my work as a Counselling Psychologist and Psychotherapist to a close. Rather than removing this website, I have chosen to preserve it as a professional archive of articles, research, reflections and resources developed throughout my career.

I hope it continues to be a useful resource for existing and former clients, fellow professionals, students and anyone with an interest in psychology.

Professional Background

My professional background includes an undergraduate conversion degree in Psychology, a Master's Degree in the Psychology of Education, a Clinical Postgraduate Diploma in Integrative Psychotherapy and a Professional Doctorate in Counselling Psychology and Psychotherapy.

Beyond Thinking in Colour

My professional interests continue to evolve and I remain passionate about applying psychology beyond traditional clinical settings. While Thinking in Colour now serves as an archive of my previous work, my current projects explore psychology in new ways.
